"Hold My Purse" was inspired by walking around San Francisco. The city can be very faced paced and overwhelming. The women in the piece is strong and confident. Holding her purse close to her isnt showing fear but rather a pose of getting through. A person hand and arm slightly being shown in the painting is to almost show a since of "come on, kid."
